Alex Yeung's Randall Amplifier

Alex Yeung lives in Hong Kong, and built this amplifier in November 1998, based on the schematic on the Randall amp web site.

In addition to the One Electron transformers, Alex used Elna capacitors in the power supply, ERO and MIT capacitors in the signal path, and Holco resistors. Initially built with the original tube complement, Alex rewired the input tube sockets to use 6J5/L63 triodes (very similar in characteristic to the triode-connected 6SJ7s in the original design). Alex is using his Randall
Amp to drive a pair of ProAc Tablette 50 Signature with excellent results.
